Maya is a Regenerative Entrepreneur, multiplatform expert, Culture Hacker and emerging technology aficionado who applies the power of narrative, technology, and regenerative design to world-changing ideas.
She holds a wealth of experience from different media and technology silos.
Her early career spanned film, video games and multiplatform productions as a visual effects artist and producer.
She worked on projects for leading gaming companies such as Ubisoft, EA, Vivendi and Activision. Maya worked in product development for clients such as the Chopra Center and Harpo Productions.
In her startup career, Maya has worked and consulted with over 30 startups in the past few years:
Mythaphi – a media platform for emergent narrative. As Chief Innovation Officer developed the product from ideation to launch of the platform.
Rebel Unit – Senior Producer – worked with clients such as Deloitte, Google, and Salesforce
Transmedia SF – as co-founder, Maya organized over 40 meetups, 2 hackathons, A Startup Weekend, consulted with many brands and startups.
ProductionNext – a production coordination platform, as an adviser.
Keyframe-Entertainment – Marketing Manager and multiplatform advisor.
LifeGuides – a seed-funded startup focusing on matching people going through Life Challenges. Maya built the operations of the startup as VP of Operations and working closely with the CTO building the product as VP of Product & Operations

Maya is co-chair of the IEEE Ethical Aligned Design Outreach Committee – which deals with ethics in Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems. She is co-leading a white paper on women in AI, an AI comic book and continuous outreach to diverse communities.
In 2015 she was part of a collaborative book, “Re-Inhabiting the Village – Co-creating our future” – a social movement that features many projects, organizations, cultural and community leaders, aiming to represent the many “Voices of the Village”.
Her other writings involve an examination of narrative forms such as the Collective Journey and the Regenerative Narrative.
Maya is also the writer of Em’s Theory – A Sci-Fi book Trilogy, digital animation series, Game, VR and franchise Maya strives to create spaces of inquiry using whole-system and regenerative design and narrative toward solving the planet’s most wicked problems.
The question that drives her is: “How May we create a world that works for all beings in the shortest amount of time”.
